• Running on a single 9V battery, and using a built in sensor, Protectrix™
detects when the garage door is open
• When the garage door is open for too long (variable 5 to 45 minutes in
5 minute increments), Protectrix™ sets off a Beep and a flash.
• If the garage door is not closed before the alarm ends (30 seconds),
Protectrix™ sends a signal to your garage door opener to close the
garage (the signal sent is the same as the signal sent from your
garage door remote control).

Protectrix™ Works as Follows:
Features:
• Can be easily disabled by turning the delay time to 0 minutes.
• Works with all existing sensors in your garage, such as the beam and
motor force sensors built into most garage door openers.
• Alarm beeps and flashes once every minute when battery is low.
Setup:
• Installing Protectrix™ is easy – either use double sided sticky tape or two
screws (both included). Do it yourself or we can install it for you – call for
a quote.
• Programming Protectrix™ is just like programming a new garage door
remote.
Garage door requirements for Protectrix™:
• Your garage door must be parallel to the ground when it is open (almost
all garage doors do this); it cannot open straight up or roll up when
opening.
• You must have an installed electric garage door opener with a remote.
• Protectrix™ must attach to the upper part of the inside of your garage door.
• No wiring or extra hardware is necessary to setup and install.
